Shreyas Krishnan
Violinist Shreyas Krishnan is 18 years old and has been playing violin since the age of 10. He currently attends Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park where he plays both the violin and viola in the Chamber Symphony. Over the course of his music journey, Shreyas has participated in many music programs and ensembles, some of which being the Heartland Chamber Music Festival and the Kansas All-State full orchestra. He is a member of the Westwood Ensemble directed by Jonathan Lane, and has been studying under violin teacher Kayo Hasegawa for the past 6 years. Planning to attend Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in music, Shreyas is super excited to be a part of the Prairie Classical Program!
